Cute cupcakes – caterpillar cupcakesLooking for cute cupcakes idea? Here is one such cupcake design.
I made this cute caterpillar cupcake for my son. I was actually completing a cupcake order for one of my friends when my son came to me and said, “mum, can you make me a caterpillar cupcake?”. I was almost finished with my order and had a few extra cupcakes and some left over icing. So, I made this caterpillar design for him.
I used green royal icing and a round nozzle and piped the caterpillar’s body and head onto the cake. Next, I used some black icing for its eyes and mouth. Having done the caterpillar, I attached some fondant flowers (also extras from my previous cupcake project) onto the cupcake.
My son was so excited with the cupcake that he took it to school the next day to show it off to his friends.
