Decorating with chocolate – creative cake decorating ideas with chocolate

One of the most well known art of decorating a cake is decorating with chocolate. Chocolate, among its many other uses, is one of the most creative ways to decorate a cake.

Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans, which are in turn processed to make chocolate and cocoa powder. The processing of cocoa beans produces cocoa liquor which consists of cocoa fat and cocoa solids known as cocoa butter and cocoa mass, respectively. It is from these components of cocoa liquor, cocoa butter and cocoa mass that different types of chocolates are produced .

I have personally used chocolate is many of my cake decorating projects. I find that this decorating technique is relatively easy to master and often yield very satisfactory results. They can, in most instances be prepared in advance and can be used as quick cake decorations when you in a hurry to decorate a cake.
