Decorating tips by Jane Tan:

Here is a cake I made for Father's Day recently. My kids wanted me to make a cake for their father on Father's day so I made this cake for them to present it to their father. He has a large collection of caps at home so I made this cap cake. It's made using a half ball mould. The front of the cap was cut out from fondant. The whole cake is also covered with fondant, and the tiny stitch marks and writing were done with royal icing.
