Decorating tips:

This wedding cake was decorated with real satin ribbon encircling the base of each tier. The bride had given me her invitation which had a ginko (tree) leaf pattern, and asked me to duplicate it on the cake, coming down from each tier. There were also birds on the invitation, as the groom was an avid bird watcher, so she asked me to incorporate those into the cake design as well.
